Acts 10 verse 38

(36)   The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

(37)   That word, ye know, which was published throughout all judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

(38)   How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went around doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.    (KJV)

Retranslation (verse 36-- for continuity only):   The divine Principle that God is All and there is none else, and all the conclusions deduced from this Divine Premise, God sent to the children of Israel, the children of Jacob, who fight and obtain victory over their false “selves” and stand face-to-face with God. This divine Principle: God is All, is sent to these children to bring them Divine Logic, a Science of God, to show them the good news of atonement, at-one-ment, Unity with God, and this Science, from beginning to end, from one side to the other,----- piercing completely through the veil beyond matter,-----is shown by and passes to them through the hands of Christ Jesus. This Unity of God and Man is supreme, it rules, in the All.


Retranslation (verse 37--for continuity only): Divine Science (The “Word”, the systematic discourse), you understand, this divine narration or pouring forth, is generated for you through the fulfillment of all the sacred rites, the celebration (“worship”) of God, i.e. the desire to know God, and the willingness to sacrifice all human opinions and beliefs to hear Her Voice . . .  beginning with the sacred Principle, God is All, and, adding stone upon stone from this sacred foundation, eating only what God gives;.....and, it follows as a necessary consequence, that you will be baptized, stained forever in the color of light, through knowing only the divine truth (as proclaimed by the Jehovah-favored, the enlightened ones, i.e. ones having been previously stained with the Light).


Retranslation (verse 38 only):  Jesus, the one set free, being rolled together with the true Self, in Christianization (“from Nazareth”), in the manner of God’s consciousness influencing him completely, furnishing him with Her infinite light, lending it to him without measure (so They turn as One); this One’s sacred force thus pierces through the veil of limited substance which breeds want, fear, greed and hate, and They the sacred, divine “Us”, having all abundance, love mankind divinely, and They move, through the impulse of Their unwavering love, to set-at-One those that are self-opposed, self-oppressed, self-impaired, and self-defamed; and They do this because They are at-One, and that One is Love, and Love must (needs to, ought to, in the sense of chre 5534) have its perfect expression.

NOTE on the divine "Us": God lives in the realm of God. It is spiritually mental, not like our looking out onto our realm and seeing only limitation. Spiritual is a much-used word with little thought often given to its infinite and therefore wholly powerful nature. To be in the Mind of God is a breathtaking experience. The force of its power drove Saul to the ground. Mary Baker Eddy gives us such hope in her definition of Mind.

"Mind. The only I, or Us; the only Spirit, Soul, divine Principle, substance, Life, Truth, Love; the one God; not that which is in man, but the divine Principle, or God, of whom man is the full and perfect expression; Deity, which outlines but is not outlined."  (Emphasis added.) With and by are closely allied in many of their uses, and it is not easy to lay down a rule by which their uses may be distinguished.
