Acts 8 verses 28 - 32 (to first ,)

Acts 8 verse 28 - 32
(Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch)

(28)  And [the eunuch] was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet.

(29) Then the Spirit said unto [Philip], Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

(30) And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understand what thou readest?

(31) And [the eunuch] said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

(32) And the place of the scripture which he read was this, . . . . “    (KJV)

--------------------------------

Retranslation (28 only):  And the eunuch was turning his ‘self’ around, reversing positions with God, correctly putting God in the higher position and himself in the inferior position, as servant.  And by remaining in this vehicle of transformation,-----the act of expiating sin, ------the eunuch is converting himself, turning himself around, joining himself with the true Mind. He is reading Isaiah, i.e. he is understanding “God is my salvation.”

Retranslation (29 only): God advances Philip by directed him to join himself to the eunuch’s vehicle of transformation (and learn more about how Jesus saved himself!)

Retranslation (30 only): Philip “hastens” toward goodness. Wanting to approach closer to God, knowing the way is obedience, he will work with the eunuch to understand more about Jesus’ example. Do you understand what “to know again” means?

Retranslation (31 only): The fellow seeker, the eunuch, asks, “How can I “know” unless I have a Leader?”  The eunuch is already understanding that only Mind can “know.” Who can lead me to this Mind?

Retranslation (32 only):  And the place of the scripture where he read was . . .
