Acts 7 verse 10

Acts 7 verse 10

And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.  (KJV)

And plucked him out from all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom over against Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and he appointed him governor over Egypt and all his household.   (IB)
------------------------------

Retranslation:  And the Eternal self-Existent rescued Her beloved from self-pity, discouragement, fear and thoughts of hatred and revenge,-----the worn tract and narrow rut of sin.  She smote him with the palm of Her omnipotent hand, replacing sin with Her divine influence, bestowing gratitude, joy, cheerfulness, and a calm and happy sense of well-being. In Her omnipotence and abundance, She shewed him, and freely offered to him, the practical skills necessary to remain in Her all-knowing presence,----even when he seemed to be in the presence of his enemy. In this way, the Adversary, the King of Confinement, the Besieger who would bind him in the confines of distress, made him, instead, to rise to the Understanding, to seek good from God, and thus to rule over this false kingdom and its false consciousness.
