Acts 7 verses 27, 28 & 29

Acts 7 verses 27, 28 & 29

Acts 7 verse 27

But the one wrongdoing the neighbor thrust him away, saying, Who appointed you a ruler and a judge over us?    (IB)
----------------------------

Retranslation:  But the unjust one, offending The-One-Nearest to him, rejected Him, saying, Who made you First, over me?!  Who made you the Decider of What Is Right to me? I will be judge and ruler of what is self-evident to me!!

------------------------------

NOTE:  In the above-translation, the wrongdoer is mortal ego. The Neighbor, or the One nearest to Moses, is Divine Consciousness, the true self, or Ego. The word epo (“saying” ) means to “say” in words or in writing. Thus, the words of rejection of the divine rule may have come Egypt’s learned textbooks.

And Moses fled at this word. And he became a sojourner in Midian land, where he fathered two sons.    (IB)
-----------------------------

Retranslation: And Moses shunned this subject of discourse and fled from the divine premise and its subsequent conclusions.  And he behaved himself as a stranger to God, living in contention, discord and strife with Her, as a resident-alien not subject to Her laws, and he conceived of two sons.

-------------------------------

NOTE: (two sons) Gershom [“For I am a stranger in a strange land];” and  Eliezer  [the “God of my father was mine help.”] (Ex. 18:4)

---------------------------------

NOTE: Realizing how far I am getting behind, I read ahead. I thought about what Stephen is saying and who he is talking to.  This passage above (Acts 7:29) is a rebuke to the high priest, et al, who are learned men. Like Moses, they resist reasoning on this point [God’s Allness]. Moses runs away from it. The high priests would rather kill the messenger.
